A former student has filed a $1 million tort claim against the Boise School District, saying school officials failed to protect her from bullying, sexual abuse and physical abuse.
The Sept. 8 claim says Green was subject to “a long history of bullying and abuse” in elementary school, junior high school and high school.
“Boyd would yell at Ms. Green for running off campus and would hit her occasionally.”At Les Bois Junior High School, Green said she was sexually abused by a classmate.
“Throughout her time at Timberline, Ms. Green reported each incident of abuse and bullying at the end of the day or week, typically through email,” the claim said.
… Nothing was ever handled.”According to the claim, Green reported her concerns to Lauretta Boulton, who was then a teacher at Timberline.
