The Lawyer Awards 2025 raised £25,000 for the Free Representation Unit (FRU), providing a remarkable boost to the charity’s ongoing efforts to offer free legal representation to individuals unable to access legal aid.
Commenting on the event, FRU chief executive David Abbott said: “The Lawyer Awards 2025 marks the sixth time that the FRU has been invited to be the charity partner.
For a small legal charity like ours this partnership has been a lifesaver.
Over those years The Lawyer Awards has raised over £100,000 to support our work.
“Our exposure to the highest reaches of the legal sector at the awards and in The Lawyer articles has raised our profile considerably.
