Daytona Beach - John (Johnny) C. Goodick passed away March 25, 2025, after a short battle with post surgical complications.
He was born on February 5, 1946, in Gloucester, MA to the late Barbara Ciarametaro (Gillis) and Robert V. Goodick and retired to Daytona Beach, FL in 2006.
Johnny was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving two tours as a Staff Sargeant in the army division. Also serving with his younger brother Joe Goodick in the same platoon.
He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his best friend and brother, Bobby Goodick, who shared the same unique brand of humor. He also enjoyed receiving updates and photos of his two grandsons and great-granddaughter often commenting it
was the highlight of his day.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Pomerleau (Goodick) and husband Kent Pomerleau of Pelham, NH, grandson, Corey Pomerleau and wife Kelsey Pomerleau of Norwood, MA, grandson, Bradley Pomerleau and finacee Kaitlin Howard of Pelham, NH and great-granddaughter Sophie Pomerleau; three sisters, Virginia (Ginny) Asaro of Daytona Beach, FL, Nancy Carpenter of Gloucester, MA, Jean Ellis and husband, Frederick Ellis, also of Gloucester, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Ciarametaro (Gillis) and father, Robert V. Goodick and four brothers Robert Goodick, Bruce (Butchie) Goodick, Joseph (Joe) Goodick and Christopher Goodick, all of Gloucester, MA.
Per his wishes no services will be held.
