- Toni Renee Frontiero-Horne passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, after a brief illness.
She was born on August 12, 1958, in Gloucester, the daughter of the late Anthony P. and Mary E. (Burnham) Frontiero. Toni lived in Gloucester most of her life and attended Gloucester High School.
Toni had a deep love for cooking, and her herb garden was a source of pride—a reflection of the care and joy she put into every meal. Around her table, she created not only dishes but lasting memories of family, friendship, and togetherness. She also cherished her travels, finding joy in each journey with her husband, Andrew, and her uncle, William (Billy) Burnham. For Toni, every trip was an opportunity for discovery, laughter, and treasured memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and niece. Toni will be remembered as a strong-willed woman with a generous heart, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Toni is survived by her husband of 25 years, Andrew Horne, and her daughter, Kristi Pratt. She also leaves behind her siblings: Paul Frontiero and his wife, Shelley; John Frontiero and his fiancée, Lisa DeShong of Pittsfield, ME; and Lori (Frontiero) Gallant and her husband, John of Newport News, VA.; and two sister-in-laws, Allison and Kelly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Toni was predeceased by her parents, Anthony P. and Mary E. Frontiero, and her in-laws, Frederick and Sandra (Runsala) Horne.
In keeping with Toni's wishes, a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
