STATEMENT – Iran, IsraelStop the War condemns Israel’s attacks on Iran. Israel targeted Iran’s nuclear sites, military commanders and residential neighbourhoods in a brutal assault and in a clear breach of international law. We demand that the UK government condemns Israel’s actions and defends international law. Rather the British government must do all it can to de-escalate to avoid a catastrophic, possibly nuclear, war. The attacks on Iran show just how dangerous Netanyahu’s government is both for the region and the wider world.
