The Jasper Municipal Water Department announced water service will be turned off, weather permitting, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for a small portion of the city. The areas affected include MacArthur St, north of W. 9th, Robert Street, Wilson Street, Dorbett Street north of W. 13th Street, W. 14th Street, between Robert Street and Dorbett Street, St. Thomas Medical Center and the Medical Arts Building/721 W. 13th St.After the work is completed, you may experience discolored water and/or air in your service line. To correct this problem, run your cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears.
