The body of Jamey Eugene Holyoak, a Moab area resident who was reported missing in April, 2022, has been recovered and identified. On September 11, 2025, the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to skeletal remains that had been found by a citizen in San Juan County. The Utah Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that the skeletal remains were human. In addition, through dental records, they were able to positively identify the remains as belonging to Holyoak. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office extends condolences to the Holyoak Family at this time.
