Danvers - Virginia Veno, 86, of Danvers, formerly of Peabody, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 16, 1939 in Peabody and was the cherished daughter of the late Harold Leighton McOsker and Margaret (Bertram) McOsker.
She had a great love for life's simple joys. She adored her jewelry and always had a sparkle about her, whether from a beautiful piece she was wearing or from her own personality. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, and she never missed her weekly appointment to get her hair done, a ritual that made her feel her best. She also loved going out to lunch with her many friends, always surrounding herself with good company.
Viriginia is survived by her nephew, David Billingsley of NH; her nieces, Ann Marie Perkins and her husband Ron of Peabody, Mary Ann Ciroli and her husband Stephen of FL, Anita McOsker of Peabody, and Terrie Diamond and her husband Gary of FL; her great nieces, Amy Perkins and Melina McOsker; her great nephews, Ryan Perkins and Eric Perkins and his wife Nikki; and her great-great nephews, Benjamin and Knox.
Sadly, in addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Arlene Billingsley; her brothers, Raymond McOsker, Dr. John Bertram McOsker and Leighton McOsker; her nephew, John B. McOsker Jr.; and her niece Donna Billingsley.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 10AM to 12PM followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 12PM.
