Yarmouth Port - Beatrice MacArthur Thenault, formerly of Chestnut Street, died on Saturday, August 30, 2025 peacefully in her sleep with family by her side. She was born in Washington, D.C. in May 1931, the daughter of Bowman McCalla MacArthur and Beatrice Ashmead Littlefield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Georges Spencer Thenault. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine and her son, Georges; seven grandchildren—Elizabeth, Sarah Tatjana, Margaux (Ryan), Emily (Josiah), Spencer, Savannah, and Thomas—and three great-grandchildren, Isla, Miles, River. A celebration of her life is planned for Friday October 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Yarmouth Port, MA. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to First Congregational Church Missions Ministry or Church Beyond the Walls.
