Travelers will find a section of 230th Avenue in Milford closed until spring 2026 as the Lower Gar outlet bridge work continues. Contractors plan a November return for bridge construction. “We’re hoping to have the bridge completed by spring, if we have a good winter,” Dickinson County Engineer Jeff Rose said. “After a large storm event, the Lakes outlet through a series of culverts and box culverts,” Rose said. “The way it’s looking right now, I don’t see any real big problems during construction,” Rose said.
