Milford’s Old City Hall building changes hands

The Milford City Council reviewed three bids and approved the sale of Old City Hall to Rick Stanton of Sibley for $179,900.
Bids were due by noon Friday, Sept. 19, for the building at 1021 10th Street in Milford.
Old City Hall also drew a $120,000 bid from Spirit Lake Properties, LLC and a $93,501.01.
Old City Hall used to house the Milford Police Department and served as a U.S.
Stanton will take ownership of the building “as is.” Demolition would have cost the city about $250,000.
