Peabody - John H. Babiarz, 84, beloved husband of Dorothy (Dzielnik) Babiarz, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the Beverly Hospital.
Born and raised on the Babiarz Farm in Peabody, he was the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Gruskowski) Babiarz.
A lifelong resident of Peabody, John had dedicated his life to his family's business. Well known in the community, he grew up raising and selling chickens as "Mike's Poultry" and later continued the family legacy with Babiarz Farm, selling vegetables and plants.
A life member of the Peabody Elks, John was dedicated to his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his loving wife with whom he shared sixty years of marriage, he is survived by two sons, John M. Babiarz of Peabody and his significant other and John's good friend, Isabella Ramirez and David A. Babiarz of Peabody, four beloved grandchildren, "Among his beloved grandchildren is 2nd Lt. Aiden Babiarz, proudly serving as a pilot in the U.S Air Force." Megan Babiarz, Dylan and Danyka Babiarz, sister-in-law, Sandra Babiarz of Nashua, NH, good friends, Airman Sean Regnier (USAF) and Santiago Marin and several nieces and nephews who loved him so much. He also leaves his beloved dog, "Bruin" and his beloved cat, "Kushma". He was also the brother of the late Joan Bradley and her husband, Gene, Michael A. Babiarz and Robert "Bob" Babiarz.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
