On the afternoon of Thursday, September 18, José “N” was found dead in a property located on 16th Street between 21st and 23rd Streets in the Centro neighborhood of the municipality of Tixkokob. The discovery occurred when the property owner entered the building after not hearing from her tenant. To gain entry, she broke a glass door and found the man lying lifeless and decomposing in his bed. According to residents of the area, Jose lived alone and was approximately 75 years of age. The area was cordoned off, and the corresponding authorities arrived for legal proceedings, while SEMEFO personnel removed the body.
