Meteorological authorities are monitoring two low-pressure zones in the Atlantic Ocean due to their potential for cyclonic development and their possible trajectory toward the Caribbean, the National Water Commission (Conagua) reported. Both systems are associated with active tropical waves and, although they do not currently pose a direct threat to the Yucatan Peninsula, they are being constantly monitored for their evolution in the coming days. The first zone is located east of the Lesser Antilles, approximately 4,000 kilometers off the coast of Quintana Roo. This phenomenon shows a 50% probability of cyclonic development in the next seven days, following a similar trajectory to the first low. So far, none of these systems pose a direct threat to Yucatecan territory, but the population is advised to remain attentive to reports from official sources such as Conagua and the National Meteorological Service.
