From September 19 to 21, 2025, Yucatán proudly joins the global celebration of vitality, serenity, and sustainability at the 9th edition of the World Wellness Weekend. With 20 local exhibitors and 41 curated activities, the state positions itself as a rising star in wellness tourism, aligning with over 10,000 centers across 160 countries. This vibrant participation reflects the vision of Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena to diversify and decentralize Yucatán’s tourism offerings. All activities are mapped digitally on the official World Wellness Weekend platform, allowing visitors to explore and plan their wellness journey. The local coordination, led by Alejandro Leo, Yucatán’s ambassador to the event and director of Alec Wellness Consulting, underscores the state’s commitment to sustainable tourism.
