By mid-September, three cold fronts had already passed, with two more expected before the month ends. October’s cold fronts are forecast to bring cooler temperatures, especially in the Sierra Madre Occidental, where below-average minimums are anticipated. Residents are advised to prepare for sudden temperature drops, especially in high-altitude areas and northern states.
