Independent music will once again be heard loud and clear in the Yucatan capital with the third edition of Indie Fest Yucatán 2025, which will take place on October 4 at the Lions Club on Colón Avenue. The festival, which began in Campeche and has been held in that state for over a decade, has established itself as an alternative space for discovering new musical offerings. “It’s a multi-genre festival, we have everything from punk to electronica and blues. We want people to experience sounds they may never have heard live,” explained Rodrigo Espinoza, producer of the Indie Fest. Indie Fest Yucatán 2025 is organized by Misión Sureste and Majestic Records, and this year reaffirms its commitment to diversity and visibility in the alternative music scene.
