At the 2025 Mariological Marian International Congress held in Rome, Mexico emerged as a leading voice, showcasing its deep-rooted devotion to the Virgin Mary and its scholarly contributions to Mariology. The event, organized by the Pontifical Academy of Mariology, gathered theologians, clergy, and cultural representatives from around the world to explore the spiritual and cultural significance of the Virgin Mary in contemporary society. The delegation also gifted a replica of the tilma of Juan Diego to the Vatican, symbolizing Mexico’s spiritual bond with Rome.
