On Monday, September 22nd, an afternoon of housework ended in tragedy for a resident of the Girasoles neighborhood, who suffered a painful open fracture in his right foot after falling from a tree he was pruning in his yard. The injured man, identified as Miguel, was cutting a large branch at the top of the tree when it fell on the ladder he was standing on. The impact caused the man to lose his balance and collapse to the ground, severely fracturing his right tibia. Relatives who witnessed the accident immediately called for help, and paramedics from the Kanasín Municipal Police arrived at the scene to provide first aid.
