According to Mario Cruz Rodríguez, president of the Tulum Tourism Promotion Council, the plan includes promoting segments that have gained momentum in recent years, such as wedding tourism and gastronomy, in addition to the traditional sun and beach product.
The expectation is to finalize agreements that guarantee greater connectivity and a stable flow of travelers during the high season.
The Tulum Tourism Promotion Council believes that these activities not only reinforce the destination’s international visibility but also allow it to diversify its offerings toward more comprehensive experiences, such as contact with Mayan culture, ecotourism, and wellness, thereby seeking to differentiate itself from other tourist destinations in the Caribbean.
With its participation in Paris and London, Tulum closes a year in which it has intensified its presence at the main industry forums, positioning itself on the radar of investors and industry professionals.
According to the organization, the strategy aims to ensure sustained growth that strengthens the municipality as a global tourism benchmark.
