The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported eight arrests between Thursday and early this (Tuesday) morning. The sheriff’s office says the driver did not have a driver’s license nor any proof of insurance for the vehicle. 17-year-old Leonard Aurelio Barrera IV of Brenham was transported to the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container. The sheriff’s office said after some resistance, 27-year-old Elmer Misael Rodriguez Galindo, address unknown, was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. Harris was booked at the Washington County Jail for two counts of Forgery of a Financial Instrument.
