The Chemours Company has appointed Damián Gumpel as the new president of its Titanium Technologies (TT) segment, effective March 3, 2025. Both will report directly to Chemours president and CEO Denise Dignam and serve on the Chemours Executive Team. Dignam emphasized that after a thorough global search, Gumpel was the best choice to lead Titanium Technologies. “Damián’s proven track record in strategic vision, cost transformation, and commercial excellence will strengthen our TT business,” she said. “I am confident that under his leadership, we will continue the success of the TT Transformation Plan and drive Chemours’ Pathway to Thrive strategy forward.”
