The Dutch coatings group Akzo Nobel is expanding its collaboration with Signify. In the future, the company will continue to supply powder coatings from the Interpon F product range for Philips LED outdoor luminaires. Signify chose the Interpon F coatings after thoroughly testing their long-term performance. ‘The expansion of our partnership with Signify is a testament to how we can actively contribute to achieving our customers’ sustainability goals,’ says Jeff Jirak, head of powder coatings at Akzo Nobel. In parallel with the expansion of the collaboration, Akzo Nobel was awarded the ‘Best Sustainability Energy Idea’ prize in 2024 as part of the Signify SEED programme.
