Iron oxide pigment specialist Oxerra has broken ground on a new 120,000 square-foot (approximately 11,150 m²) warehouse at its Augusta, Georgia facility. According to Kevin Miles, CEO of Oxerra Americas, the new facility underscores the strategic importance of the U.S. market. Oxerra is also aiming for LEED certification and plans to install solar panels to reduce the site’s carbon footprint. Throughout the construction phase, the existing operations at the Augusta facility will continue with minimal disruption. Oxerra sees the project as a long-term commitment to maintaining its leading role in the U.S. pigment market and preparing for future growth.
