IMCD, a global distributor of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in Tillmanns S.p.A. Founded in 1940 and headquartered in Milan, Tillmanns is a long-standing distributor serving the coatings, construction, food and water treatment markets. Tillmanns operates a logistics centre in Milan and runs an in-house R&D laboratory, providing testing, tailored formulations and technical support. IMCD regards the acquisition as a strategic fit that enhances its scale in Italy and creates further growth opportunities in industrial and food applications.
