□ DGIST (President Kunwoo Lee) announced that it will host the ‘2025 World Engineering Education Forum & Global Engineering Deans Council Conference (WEEF & GEDC 2025)’, the world’s largest academic event on engineering education, from Sunday, September 21 to Thursday, September 25 at Daegu EXCO and the DGIST campus. □ Co-hosted by DGIST and the Korean Society for Engineering Education (KSEE, President Kyung-Woo Yi), this year’s forum will be held under the theme “Engineering Education We Need.” The event will cover a wide range of global issues, including innovation in engineering education, integration of emerging technologies, sustainability, enhancement of education quality, and the social responsibilities of engineers. □ The forum is jointly organized by DGIST, KSEE, IFEES, and GEDC, with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Education, and Daegu Metropolitan City. □ DGIST President Kunwoo Lee stated, “DGIST is contributing to national and regional development by focusing on three future strategic areas: Physical AI, Human Digital Twin, and Quantum Sensing.
