The Ipswich River Community Chorus is looking for new singers, especially basses and tenors. The non-audition chorus, which draws singers from 29 towns across the North Shore, is holding an open rehearsal Monday, Sept. 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 235 Park St., North Reading. The open event will allow interested singers to meet other chorus members and check out the Christmas performance repertoire. The choir is open to another 14 and older.
