Status of plans to reconstruct the aging and deteriorated Washington Square plaza in downtown Haverhill are expected to become known Wednesday when the Washington Street Shoe Historic District Commission hears a presentation.
In 1983, the city began a $1.2 million project to build a reconfigured plaza in Washington Square, Little River Promenade and Washington Street roadway and sidewalks as part of improvements within the Washington Street Shoe District.
The Washington Street Shoe Historic District Commission meets Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m., in the community room at the Haverhill Housing Authority, 25 Washington Square, Haverhill.
Kimball Farm is back on the agenda of the Haverhill Conservation Commission meeting this week.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7:15 p.m. in Haverhill City Hall, 4 Summer St., room 301.
