Agreed for ex husband to get $26,000 from my retirement account (half the balance at separation). Since then, we agreed to use some of that money to send our oldest on a study abroad adventure. I paid her tuition from my personal account with the anticipation of being reimbursed from the QDRO money. (I intend to draw up an amendment to our separation agreement so he can't come back for the money again later.) And I can't rely on the ex for support (he might help; he might not).
