The Cougars mounted a striking offense in the first half, taking a 36-14 lead into halftime. Trinity drew blood first early in the opening frame as Nate Riddle caught a 30-yard touchdown reception. Right before halftime, Riddle added a 1-yard touchdown run. The Cougars will be taking a much-needed break next week as they have a bye on Oct. 3.
