This year’s Covered Bridge Festival has come and gone. Events such as the Covered Bridge Festival strengthen relationships, foster community pride, teach about neighbors and allow showcasing of history, food, music and heritage. The Covered Bridge Festival has become part of Elizabethton’s identity. There are so few covered bridges left in our state that Elizabethton’s Covered Bridge draws visitors from near and far. The Covered Bridge Festival has become an identity for our community.
