Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...Chris Collins will serve as the new assistant principal of Cloudland Elementary School, Carter County Schools announced. Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in criminal justice from East Tennessee State University in 1995 and a Master of Arts in Teaching from ETSU in 1997. degree at Lincoln Memorial University in 2018. He has spent the past 28 years teaching in Carter County Schools and has served as a coach for 25 years at Hampton Elementary, Cloudland Junior High, Hunter Elementary and Unaka Elementary/High School. School officials said Collins is known for his commitment to students both in the classroom and on the field, and they said his experience, passion and leadership will continue to positively impact the faculty, staff and students at Cloudland Elementary.
