James Weldon Boyd, 84, of Chase City entered eternal rest Monday, Sept. 22, 2025. A funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City with Rev. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Chase City. Public viewing will be held Friday from 2-6 p.m. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
