Wayne Smith “Wolf”, 68, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Charlotte County, April 20, 1957 to the late Walter Smith Sr. and Lillie Byrd Smith. At an early age, Wayne joined Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sisters, Ophelia Daniel and Sharon Dodd; brothers, Paul Smith and Silas Smith. Burial with military honors followed in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Oak.
