JULY 16--With no defense at hand, a man has pleaded guilty to an obscenity charge for pleasuring himself inside a storage shed for sale at a Lowe’s in Louisiana. George Kalliavas, 66, copped to the felony charge during a District Court hearing Monday, records show. Pictured above, Kalliavas was locked up on $15,000 bail after his May 11 arrest at the Lowe’s outlet in Slidell, a city in St. Tammany Parish. He was released from custody following his July 14 guilty plea. Kalliavas was watching an unknown video on his cellular phone, and he had headphones in his ears.”After being handcuffed and read his rights, Kalliavas advised that he had been “jacking off” inside the enclosure, one of several sheds Lowe’s “had on display for sale.” While customers are “free to browse these sheds,” Kalliavas “had no reasonable expectation of privacy inside of the subject shed,” LeBlanc reported.
