New Paltz Home Bureau Float was awarded second prize and the New Paltz Grange won the tug-of-war at the Ulster County Parade and Picnic at Forsyth Park in Kingston. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Keays, formerly of New Paltz, who have been Denver, Colorado for the past two years visited Mr. and Mrs. Bruyn Hasbrouck during the past week. The Elliott Brothers will carry the children from Loyd and Centerville to school at New Paltz by bus again this year. Next year when room has been provided by the completion of the addition to the Highland School building, the children from Loyd and Centerville will go to Highland.
