On October 5, he will officially be crowned as 'The cat of Tavistock' by the Mayor and Mayoress at the Tavistock Park band stand. The cheque comes from proceedings for the sale of the books, "The adventures of Polo, the Tavistock Cat." Polo is a black cat who likes going on adventures around town and has developed a fanbase who enjoy following his days out.
