Substitute Bim Pepple added a fourth Argyle goal in the closing stages and it needed a couple of good late saves from Burton keeper Brad Collins to prevent the hosts’ defeat from being heavier. Argyle played towards the 1,600-strong travelling Green Army in the second half but it was Burton who were on the attack from the restart. The hurried clearance from the Burton keeper hit Oseni and the ball rebounded narrowly wide of the goal. There was a double Argyle substitution soon afterwards as the excellent hard-working Tolaj and McCabe were replaced by Jamie Paterson and Caleb Roberts.
