Delaware Regulators Clarify County-Based Marijuana License Assignments Remain in Place, Allows Limited Reassignment

Delaware officials have issued a statement clarifying recent confusion regarding county-based license assignments in the state’s adult-use marijuana program, saying that contrary to recent reports, county-based assignments have not been removed.

“Maintaining county-based assignments is central to our program’s design, but we recognize the importance of ensuring licensees have a viable path to establishing operations,” said the Commissioner of the OMC.
