The New York State Office of Cannabis Management, working with Northwell Health, will hold its second annual Medical Cannabis Symposium on November 7, 2025, in Long Island.
The event, titled “Cannabinoids in Clinical Practice,” will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and trainees to explore the science behind medical cannabis and its role in clinical care.
The symposium will feature well-known figures in the field, including Ethan Nadelmann, JD, PhD, Bonni Goldstein, MD, Meg Haney, PhD, and Ryan Vandrey, PhD.
Attendees will take part in presentations and panel discussions focused on cannabinoid pharmacology, clinical applications, and the broader health and societal impacts of medical cannabis.
In addition to the main event, a pre-symposium session on November 6 will offer a free course for clinicians seeking certification to participate in New York’s medical cannabis program.
