Investors in the Nigerian stock market traded a total turnover of 7.684 billion shares worth N494.126 billion in 116,645 transactions. As a result, the value of transactions traded by investors on the Exchange advanced by 479.9 per cent. The Oil and Gas Industry followed with 730.517 million shares worth N391.364 billion in 7,059 deals. The third place was the Services Industry, with a turnover of 128.647 million shares worth N962.909 million in 5,863 transactions. Similarly, all other indices finished higher with the exception of NGX CG, NGX Pension, NGX Insurance, NGX MERI Growth, NGX Oil and Gas, NGX Lotus II, NGX Pension Broad and NGX Commodity Indices.
