Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) organized “Run 4 Green Dimapur” marathon on Saturday as part of the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP). The run was flagged off from Urban Haat at 5 a.m., covering Purana Bazar, Burma Camp, Khermahal, and Clock Tower before concluding outside the DMC office at Forest Colony. In the men’s open category, Abhishek Yadav emerged champion, with Prince Yadav securing the runner-up position. Thangi Mannen, member secretary of NPCB, K. Hukato Chishi, and EAC, Dimapur, Imlijungla Lemtur. Boka Rochill highlighted the role of the National Youth Climate Consortium (NYCC), while the vote of thanks was given by C. Thsapise Anar.
