PINE BUSH, N.Y. — Kingston High’s football team couldn’t stop Pine Bush’s power running game in a 36-20 loss in the Tigers’ Section 9 Class AA opener on Friday, Sept. 26. Pine Bush took control in the second half after the visiting Tigers (0-1, 1-3) trailed just 16-14 at the half. A 10-yard TD run by Bey-Dominick put Pine Bush ahead 14-7 early in the second quarter. Pine Bush recorded a safety with 2:47 remaining in the second quarter to take a 16-14 lead at the intermission.
