By Obaloluwa Joshua, LAGOSNigeria’s Falconets cruised into the final qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup after a 4-0 thumping of Rwanda in Ibadan on Saturday. Nigeria won the second round tie 5-0 on aggregate. Precious Oscar opened scoring for the Falconets in the 13th minute, Tumininu Adeshina doubled the advantage seven minutes later. The hosts got two more goals in the second half through Janet Akekoromwei, and substitute Taiwo Afolabi in the second half. The Falconets will face either Senegal of Algeria in the final qualifying round.
