Follow us onSrinagar, Sept 27: Education Minister Sakeena Itoo on Saturday said that students who have recently completed the Class 12 bi-annual examinations will be eligible for admission into government degree colleges in Jammu and Kashmir starting from September 29, 2025. On September 19, 2025, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the results of the Class 12 Bi-Annual 2025 examinations, which recorded an overall pass percentage of 50%. Responding to student requests, the minister said the admission process has been authorised for those who have recently passed the Higher Secondary Part II Examination. “Students who have passed the biannual examination will be granted admission to degree colleges across both divisions starting September 29, ensuring that their valuable academic year is preserved,” Itoo said. Students who recently completed their exams expressed their appreciation for the decision.
